What I’m All About —

I have been a photographer for more than 11 years now, starting my journey in destination weddings in 2019. In 2024 I was awarded as one of the 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography by Rangefinder Magazine in New York (a huge achievement) and was named one of The Best Wedding Photographers in Mexico by The Wed. My work has been published in Over The Moon (another “pinch me” moment), Rangefinder, The Wed, Photobug Community, Junebug Weddings and The Wedding Book, among others. Everyday I realize how passionate I am about capturing weddings, how fulfilling it is to my soul and how I seek to inspire more couples to trust my vision and begin this most authentic path with me.

I’m not looking for a picture-perfect client, nor to do fake, posed photos and being a vendor for you.

03 — 03

If we work together, we will create a meaningful connection and beautiful ART that you can feel and treasure forever.

The philosophy behind the photos

My approach to wedding photography is a mix of documentary and editorial styles intended for the modern, fashion-forward lovers around the world looking for beautiful, artistic and timeless imagery.

My work is inspired by visual arts, The Gothic, romanticism, the renaissance, fashion, Punk and Rock & Roll culture.

I strive to give my clients a high-end experience and create true connections.

Film is Not Dead — Do you Remember the Excitement of Waiting for your Film Rolls to Be Developed?

For those of us dreamers who grew up in the pre-digital era, film photography is still a reminder of not only nostalgic times, but also to slow down and treasure every moment that we capture.

I learned photography using my first analog camera (a gift from my Dad), a beautiful Nikon FM10 and developed my very first 35mm film work back in 2007, when I was in College. I always loved the feeling of taking pictures without being able to see them and waiting anxiously for the result so I never stopped shooting on film. Around 6 years ago, when I started my business as a full-time wedding and elopement photographer, I slowly began shooting weddings with instant and 35mm cameras and a couple years back, I officially added Film and Polaroids on some of my coverage options.

Nowadays Film photography is very fashionable again even with the new generations, dazzled by the unique merge of nostalgia, artistic appeal and incomparable film look that this analog photography offers and that not even photo filters can give to digital images today. Film photography gives us a unique aesthetic quality that digital will never be able to replicate.

Love On Film

next

Having Film photography for your special day is going to change your whole getting married experience. You will see your wedding or elopement day with another perspective; shooting on film forces us to be more present in the moment since time is a great requirement to create, have fun and experiment. Even though you won’t know exactly what you’re gonna get, you can be sure that these analog photographs will be taken with photography expertise and that you’ll have even a more artistic approach to your final wedding documentary.

A Polaroid film package is only 8 photos, medium format film (120mm) rolls is 12 and 35mm has 36 photos so, even if you have a lot of rolls and polaroid shots in your coverage, the number of exposures is still limited and each shot is carefully taken so you can feel every photo as a precious treasure.

I shoot on 35mm film in all my wedding coverages and I have options with all formats included. We can always talk about adding a specific format that best suits your wedding aesthetic.

01 — 02

Sometimes couples spend a lot of money on having disposable or instant cameras for their guests to take pictures on their wedding day, which is such a fun idea but this is not always the best decision if you do want to do a mix of professional digital and film photography coverage. The work of an expert film photographer will never be the same as what your friends and family can shoot. All format films, as well as the developing processes are very expensive and unfortunately, sometimes the bride and groom end up regretting having film cameras for everybody instead of adding professional Film photography.

If you love nostalgia as I do, Film photography is definitely for you. The feeling of having to stop for a second instead of running around with a rushed timeline on your wedding or elopement day will be invaluable and you would love going back seeing moments in time frozen on film that no one will have on their smartphones and not even maybe on your digital photos.

Super 8 Films

embracing nostalgia

This is a beautiful old-school film format from the 1960s, originally made for family home videos. It has a unique timeless and cinematic feel that transports you back in time and as well as film photography, this one will always keep relevant, capturing moments in a way digital video just can’t. Made with vintage cameras and actual rolls of professional Kodak film (which its 50 feet long gives us around 2-3 minutes of footage per roll), Super 8 is the perfect complement for a photography coverage on film.

01 — 02

Its artistic freedom is real, raw and straight-up magical. From a couple’s session, to a whole wedding or elopement adventure on the other side of the world, we can document it authentically and wholeheartedly, shooting the most special moments for you in motion in a nostalgic, intimate and fun way with the most dreamy vintage incomparable quality and you’ll embrace nostalgia in a modern yet timeless way. For all the lovers and mad romantics out there.

Frequently Asked Questions —

Don’t See Your Question?

Absolutely! Travel is a fundamental part of my story, work and inspiration. Find out more here. Within Mexico I have photographed weddings, elopements and couple sessions in many places outside of San Miguel de Allende like Riviera Nayarit, Oaxaca, Tulum, Cabo and surroundings in Baja, Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico City, among many others and internationally, I've done couples and editorial photography in Spain and Scotland. There are so many destinations that I would love to experience and accompany my couples, if this is what you are planning, please get in touch asap.

The most common thing is that couples book their wedding and elopement photography a year in advance. For photo sessions, booking has to be at least 3-2 weeks in advance. If for any reason you are running out of time, get in touch and I will check my availability.

I require a first non-refundable payment of 30% to secure your wedding/elopement date. The next 70% is due 45 days prior to the wedding. For sessions I require a 50% non-refundable payment to reserve and the due date is one week in advance. If the session is booked on short notice, a one-time payment will be required at the moment of booking.

Yes! Not all the times, but I’m very lucky to have my husband Nahuel as my first option every time he’s available. He’s an extraordinary, talented wedding photographer as well and while he has his own photography business, we work together every time we can. When he’s not available, I bring another professional wedding photographer to shoot along with me. The Second Photographer is included for the wedding day coverage in most of my services and you’ll always have the option to add this to other events. Having a Second Photographer for your wedding or elopement it’s a great thing to consider since you will have a wider variety of moments captured and it is essential when having Film photography.

Again, absolutely! I always help my couples designing their wedding timeline months in advance, which provides them with a lot of clarity to not only consider the photographic moments but to visualize their entire wedding day. I will do my best to make everything easier for you and that you have the best stress-free wedding experience ever.

I like to be closely involved throughout your entire process and help you make the best decisions to ensure that your photography coverage is as perfect as possible.

After the post-production process that can take between 12-14 weeks approximately, you’ll receive an online gallery with a Slideshow with the highlight moments and all the edited images that you’ll be able to download in high and web quality and share with your family and friends. The gallery has no expiration date however, it is important and the responsibility of each client to back up all your downloaded high quality photographs during the first 3 months after receiving your gallery. I keep the images as a guarantee for one year after the date of the wedding, after that, I am not responsible for any loss of the images. If one day I decide to stop using the platform where your online gallery is, I will let you know in advance. I also offer books add-ons, for those who wish to have their photos on paper.

Of course. I feel awkward in front of a camera too, trust me, you really don’t have to worry about this.

All my past clients that you see on this website, told me at some point that they were not photogenic, unbelievable, isn't it? A big part of my job is to understand who you are, help you and guide you to make you feel incredibly comfortable and gorgeous.

This is a team work and this is about me documenting your true selves.

The next thing you should do is to fill out my contact form. Please give me all the details that are important to you and with that information I’m gonna be able to check my availability and contact you back. Even if I don't have the required date available, I'll get in touch to let you know.

If I’m available for your date, a video call is required to meet each other and go through all of your questions. This initial contact is very important and once we talked about the perfect coverage for you, I’ll share the contract and you’ll be able to send the first payment to officially book your day with me.

Travel —

Traveling is one of the things that make me feel free and inspire my work the most.

If you’re thinking about having an intimate destination wedding or eloping in any corner of the world, I’ll be honored to accompany you and be part of your adventure.

There are places very special to me, cities and natural landscapes around the world that are ingrained in my heart and I can’t wait to go back and experience these (and new) destinations with couples that feel the same. Barcelona, Marrakech, London, Rome, Edinburgh, Isle of Skye are just some of them...

I would love to shoot in other countries like Greece, India, Japan, among so many others, -I have the longest list, but any destination that is important to you, tell me about it and let's make it happen.

And of course, I love Mexico which is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, full with options for an incredible destination wedding experience or elopement.
