The morning mist covers the mountains behind the sea and a tiny, little boat floats in the distance. You can feel the cold yet warm breeze and see the deep blue ocean when the sun comes up.
A rock and roll princess in a super romantic sheer tulle Flora Bridal dress and a handsome sailor, these two are the cutest, sweetest couple I’ve ever photographed and this scenery with the blue sea was just perfect to celebrate their eternal love.
When these two contacted me telling me they were getting married in Puerto Vallarta, it filled my heart with nostalgia and joy. Being such a special destination for me, that immediately created a very special bond between us and I am deeply grateful for the trust they had in me and all the time we were able to spend together documenting beautiful and intimate moments.
The day before the wedding I was so excited to finally meet with Amanda and Niko and I went to visit them at their wedding venue. They were already tanned and happy and I couldn’t stop photographing their joy prior the big day. We spend the afternoon taking photos at the beach, laughing and it was such a magical sunset.
And the wedding day… a beautiful ceremony before sunset and officiated by Amanda’s sister, Niko’s father playing the guitar while they danced and an ancestral blessing with the twilight light, were just some highlights of the day, until the end of the night with the dark sky full of fireworks and stars.
I absolutely loved sharing the love these two have for each other, their loved ones and their chosen destination.
